Hi, I'm Ida Radan
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a vulnerable first step. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns that keep repeating, carrying the weight of difficult experiences, or struggling in relationships that matter deeply to you. Perhaps you find yourself constantly putting others first, having difficulty expressing your needs, or feeling disconnected from yourself or your partner. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to offer a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.
As a Registered Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience, I work with individuals and seniors navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. I believe that many of our struggles make sense when we take the time to understand the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped us. Through greater awareness and self-compassion, we can begin to create new ways of relating—to ourselves and the people we love.
My Approach
My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I strive to create an environment where you can safely explore difficult emotions, make sense of your experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
In my work with individuals, I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, perfectionism, boundary difficulties, life transitions, chronic illness and pain, workplace stress, and challenges in relationships.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches. I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, goals, and values, balancing deeper emotional exploration with practical tools that you can bring into your everyday life.
My Experience
I completed my Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto. Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse clinical settings including hospitals, university counselling centres, interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs, and private practice.
My experience has allowed me to support individuals facing complex emotional and physical health challenges, including those living with chronic pain and illness. I have also facilitated psychoeducational groups and mindfulness-based programs, helping clients develop practical skills for managing stress, navigating difficult emotions, and improving their overall well-being.
I am deeply committed to ongoing learning and professional development and regularly engage in advanced training and consultation to ensure I provide therapy that is thoughtful, effective, and grounded in current best practices.
A little bit about me ...
In my free time, I enjoy drawing and cooking as well as spending time with my family.
